Data Scientist (AI/ML)

TL;DR

Data Scientist (AI/ML): Building and optimizing predictive models and machine learning solutions that support hirify.global's eVestment products and drive business decisions. Focus on designing, training, and validating ML algorithms, implementing AI solutions including NLP and computer vision, and monitoring model performance in production.

Location: Hybrid in Atlanta, USA (at least 3 days a week in-office).

What you will do

• Design, train, and validate predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve business challenges.
• Clean, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to ensure data quality and extract meaningful insights.
• Implement AI solutions including NLP and computer vision applications.
• Create informative features from raw data to improve model performance and interpretability.
• Collaborate with data engineers and product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Monitor model performance in production, identify data drift, and iterate to improve accuracy and reduce bias.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, data science, physics, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in a data-centric role such as data analyst, data scientist, or research assistant.
• Proficiency in Python and ability to write complex SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
• Experience with ML and AI frameworks (Scikit-learn, XGBoost, Statsmod, PyTorch, Keras, Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, Anthropic APIs).
• Experience with Data Manipulation libraries (Pandas, NumPy).
• Prior experience in financial services, fintech, or capital markets is required.
