Software Engineer (Python) (Web)

TL;DR

Software Engineer (Python Web): Implementing new and supporting existing features for operations and support tools with an accent on working with both modern and legacy systems. Focus on code optimization and contributing to team activities.

Location: Hybrid (2-3 days of work from the office in Warsaw, Poland). Must be legally authorized to work in Poland at the time of application.

Salary: 15000 - 27000 PLN gross monthly (Poland)

What you will do

• Implement new and support existing features
• Participate in code reviews and release activities
• Participate in plannings, retrospectives, and team buildings
• Work closely with BA and QA
• Support services in production (Incident management)

Requirements

• Development experience in Python (Web) and Django
• Good knowledge of RDBMS
• Ability to read and extend existing complex codebases
• Strong debugging skills, including profiling and identifying logic issues
• Responsibility and self-sufficiency
• Critical thinking
• Good spoken and written English (B2 level and higher)

Nice to have

• Experience in code optimization
• Experience in such technologies as Docker, K8s, DRF, Key-value databases and Message Queue
• Mentorship skills
