Linux Operations Engineer

What you will do

• Manage one or more business-critical systems, ensuring continuous monitoring and backups.
• Collaborate on security, problem-solving, and process optimization, participating in safety testing and ITIL practices.
• Contribute to operation projects, including large-scale technology transitions and implementing operational tasks.
• Build new environments within a DevOps team, utilizing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and GitOps (Argo CD).
• Maintain Linux-based environments, working with Kubernetes platforms and managed containers.
• Coach and guide junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant discipline.
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience as a Linux or System Engineer, Operations Engineer, SRE, or DevOps Engineer.
• Solid Linux skills.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Working experience with Kubernetes Onprem and Azure Services.
• Working knowledge of IaC Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with Kafka and scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell/Python).

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure DevOps / GIT.
• Knowledge of SnowFlake, Cloudflare, cryptography, and TLS/SSL certificate management.
• Understanding of computer networks and Internet protocols (HTTP, TCP, UDP, DNS).
