Hardware Sr. Electronic Engineer

TL;DR

Hardware Sr. Electronic Engineer (Tablet Development): Developing hardware for hirify.global's displays, audio systems, and sensors used on fitness products with an accent on complex system-on-chip operation and Android-based systems. Focus on bringing products from concept to production working with teams in Taipei and the United States.

Location: Expectation to be onsite 3 to 4 days per week.

What you will do

• Develop hardware for hirify.global’s displays, audio systems, and sensors used on fitness products.
• Collaborate with a small team of hirify.global engineers in Taipei and Product Management and Engineering teams in the United States.
• Bring products from concept to production.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Hardware Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 6+ years in hands-on development of digital consumer product electronic hardware.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
• Experience with Android mobile device or tablet architecture and development using mobile-device SOC’s.
• Experience with high-quality audio and video entertainment systems, JDM and CM partnerships, electrical safety regulations, and EMC mitigation.
• Ability to travel throughout Taiwan and Asia, including in China, Thailand, and Vietnam (10% to 15%).

Nice to have

• Experience with Solidworks, vision systems, and control system theory.
