What you will do

• Own, develop, improve, and optimize UI tech code in Unreal Engine.
• Collaborate with programmers, artists, UI, and UX designers to gather feedback and design solutions.
• Analyze and fix performance issues and memory usage in the game engine.
• Work collaboratively across Epic's internal teams.
• Work with Unreal Engine's licensees to help them overcome challenges.

Requirements

• Strong C++ skills and experience with large codebases.
• Experience designing and writing tools to improve user experience and development time in game development.
• In-depth understanding of tools development, UI Frameworks, and runtime UI engines.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and strong problem-solving skills.
• English: Fluent written and verbal communication skills required.
