What you will do

• Own end-to-end development of ML models from ideation to production using a self-service ML platform.
• Improve core models, including Scam, Transfer/Transaction Risk, Withdrawal Limit, and Account Takeover models.
• Rapidly build, train, and deploy permanent ML models to counter new threats (under one week timeline).
• Develop production-grade AI/ML models and pipelines for reliable, real-time predictions.
• Apply modern ML methodologies (deep learning, NLP, GNNs, sequence modeling, LLMs) to crypto-native challenges.
• Build context-aware risk systems to apply appropriate friction based on user and risk profile.
• Collaborate with Risk Operations, Platform Engineering, and Product Management to automate defenses.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in software engineering and/or AI/ML, with production deployment experience.
• Commitment to building an open financial system and protecting users from fraud/scams.
• Familiarity with applied AI/ML techniques (Risk ML, deep learning, NLP, anomaly detection).
• Proficient coding skills (Python) and experience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Ability to work collaboratively and convey technical concepts to various audiences.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or related field.
• Familiarity with modern data and AI/ML infrastructure (Feature Stores like Tecton, Model Serving like RayServe, Apache Airflow, Spark, Kafka).
• Experience with Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) or Sequential Models (LSTMs).
• Experience with LLMs (NLP, fine-tuning, agentic systems) or Reinforcement Learning.
• Understanding of MLOps best practices and data analysis/visualization tools.
