Pa & Tax Associate (Fintech)

TL;DR

PA & Tax Associate (Fintech): Responsible for client portfolio accounting and generation of Tax Packages globally, working to scale and automate existing global tax platforms to create a next-generation platform on the cloud. Focus on architecting the platform components and building new features to improve client experience.

What you will do

• Contribute to engineering leadership in architecting the platform components.
• Act as a hands-on developer to build and ship new features.
• Produce scalable designs.
• Influence the evolution of the platform architecture.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in Java & J2EE frameworks.
• Experience with producing scalable software designs.
• Experience in Spring, REST services, JMS, Hibernate/JPA, JSON is required.
• Experience working with sql based database like Sybase or NoSQL like Mongo DB (Mongo experience preferred).
• Experience in writing automated tests is required.
• Experience with designing/delivering messaging-based solutions (e.g. Kafka).
• Strong sense of ownership, focus on quality, responsiveness, efficiency, and innovation.
• Experience in working with CI/CD, GIT, Jira methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience in AWS technologies is required.
• Experience working on UX Technologies.
• Experience with Hadoop/Big data/Apache Spark.
• Any experience with Advent Geneva RSL.
• Experience in Financial Services/Industry.
