What you will do

• Design, code, and implement proprietary systems and tools to bring research ideas to life.
• Collaborate with Quant Researchers, Portfolio Managers, data scientists, mathematicians, and computer scientists.
• Gather, analyze, and specify requirements.
• Develop and test code.
• Manage deliverables and have a real business impact.

Requirements

• Background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong computer science fundamentals including algorithms, design patterns, OOP, threading, multiprocessing, and data structures.
• Demonstrated mastery of any programming language (Python is best, C++ is great).
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, insight, judgment, and strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to express complex concepts simply.

Nice to have

• Experience working in Linux environments.
• Experience building distributed or data-intensive systems.
• Understanding of basic probability, statistical inference, software solvers, and mathematical optimization.
• Interest and experience in LLM and agentic systems.
