Quant AI/ML Model Developer VP (Generative AI)

Location: Based in the Prague office, Prague, Czechia

Annual base salary: Kč 1,900,000–Kč 2,500,000. The range excludes other compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Design analytics and modelling solutions for complex business problems across risk, finance, payments, and credit.
• Develop generative AI applications and machine learning models using Python, large language models, RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, and vector databases.
• Build high-performing, documented, accurate, stable, and well-tested model software.
• Collaborate with technology teams on data, development environments, tools, dependencies, and model operationalization.
• Demonstrate model efficacy to business users and independent validation teams while providing ongoing analytical support.
• Manage model risk, controls, governance, stakeholder relationships, and team or specialist development responsibilities.

Requirements

• Experience programming in Python and implementing AI/ML models, ideally including generative AI.
• Experience with large language models, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, or vector databases.
• Quantitative or technical expertise from a relevant degree such as computer science, mathematics, or physics.
• Previous people leadership experience, including supporting, developing, and organizing teams.
• Strong senior stakeholder management and communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts.
• Ability to work within enterprise risk management policies, model risk controls, and defined governance environments.

Nice to have

• Understanding of the generative AI landscape, model options, implementation details, and platforms such as Bedrock.
• Financial services or banking experience.
