What you will do

• Oversee and supervise character-specific animations, such as dances and emotes, using Maya and Unreal Engine.
• Guide emotes from initial concept through animation to final implementation in Unreal Engine.
• Collaborate across various art disciplines and vendor teams at Epic.
• Lead and help shape the style and feel of Fortnite’s growing library of cosmetic animations/emotes.

Requirements

• Animation reel showing key-framed character and creature animations.
• Strong experience with Maya and gameplay systems like Unreal Engine.
• Good instincts for realistic and stylized motions.
• Strong communication and leadership skills and experience.
• Experience working with mocap data.
• Leadership experience having shipped at least one title.

Nice to have

• Related skills such as modeling, skinning, or rigging.
