Salary: $98,600 - $145,000 USD

What you will do

• Set and push animation quality for in-game animations and express storytelling.
• Provide technical support for efficient production and implementation of high-quality animation.
• Define, maintain, and improve animation tools and pipeline with engineers and technical artists.
• Give feedback on animation created by internal artists and external co-developers/outsourcers.
• Actively participate in team art discussions, critiques, and reviews.
• Ensure timely completion of animation tasks and collaborate with narrative, design, and art teams.

Requirements

• Expert hand-key animation skills in 2D and 3D with clear knowledge of animation fundamentals.
• 5+ years of professional experience creating animations for games (Maya preferred).
• 2+ years of experience with technical implementation of animations in UI and feature development in Unity.
• Experience with real-time particle and VFX-based animations.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Online Portfolio demonstrating animation art skills and technical art skills (e.g., rigging, VFX).

Nice to have

• Additional proficiency in drawing, texturing, and modeling.
• Proficiency animating text and images.
• Proficiency in Photoshop and After Effects.
• Knowledge of Jira.
• Mobile games experience.
• Experience with AI-assisted creative tools such as Scenario, ChatGPT, or GeminiAI.
