What you will do

• Design and implement RESTful and event-driven microservices using FastAPI.
• Optimize and maintain PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and migrations.
• Deploy, monitor, and scale services on AWS (EKS, RDS, S3).
• Build and orchestrate Docker containers with Kubernetes for seamless deployments.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.
• Write comprehensive unit, integration, stress, and end-to-end tests.
• Collaborate on software architecture decisions for microservices and observability.

Requirements

• 6+ years in a high-velocity startup or product-centric environment.
• Expertise in Python and FastAPI, with strong API design skills.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and familiarity with NoSQL stores.
• Hands-on AWS experience (compute, storage, serverless).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD toolchains.
• Deep understanding of the testing pyramid and frameworks (pytest, unittest).
• Proven track record designing scalable, fault-tolerant microservices.

Nice to have

• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Helm.
• GitHub Actions and shell scripting for automation.
• Audio processing pipelines or DSP familiarity.
• Observability stacks: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK.
