What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of AI/ML engineers and software developers.
• Define technical roadmaps, assign tasks, and ensure timely delivery of AI/ML software packages.
• Develop core AI/ML components and ensure compatibility with the product platform, including hybrid cloud/on-prem integration.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align priorities and resolve integration challenges for air-gapped and low-power deployments.
• Monitor team performance, code quality, and adherence to best practices.
• Act as a bridge between AI/ML innovation and product integration, ensuring energy-efficient and scalable solutions.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience (Python, C++, ML frameworks).
• 3+ years of team leadership experience (managing small teams).
• Proven experience designing hybrid cloud/on-prem architectures (e.g., Azure, Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience with air-gapped environments and power-constrained systems (e.g., edge devices, embedded systems).
• Very good German and English language skills

• Background in signal processing, communications engineering, or embedded systems
