Location: Hybrid setup in Germany (Munich, Dresden, or Hamburg). Mandatory internships are only available at the Hamburg location.

What you will do
- Work on AI compiler technologies (e.g., MLIR) for ML acceleration on hirify.global devices.
- Implement innovative ways to map AI workloads onto edge devices.
- Study and work with open-source AI/ML compiler technologies.
- Invent, implement, and integrate methods to deploy neural networks onto heterogeneous systems.
- Develop a proof-of-concept integration of hirify.global devices into open-source AI/ML compiler technologies.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Master's degree in computer sciences, computer engineering, or related fields.
- Strong skills in C/C++ or Python.
- Profound knowledge of embedded systems.
- Experience with Linux environments, VSCode, and git.
- Fundamental understanding of neural networks (PyTorch/Tensorflow).
- Good English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and accurately.
Nice to have
- First experience with AI compiler frameworks and/or Neural Processing Units (NPUs).
