What you will do

• Collaborate with testers, translators, and developers to identify and fix linguistic issues in games.
• Act as the guardian of language, ensuring every word, menu, and in-game message is natural, accurate, and culturally appropriate.
• Test games diligently following hirify.global's proven LQA methods and industry standards.
• Utilize professional bug databases to clearly describe linguistic issues, track progress, and verify fixes.
• Evolve into a trusted LQA expert, owning projects and mastering the full testing cycle.
• Write and refine test cases, document findings, and contribute to best practices in LQA.
• Collaborate with development teams early to shape localization testing and improvement processes.
• Optimize workflows and share knowledge to continuously raise LQA standards.

Requirements

• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to linguistic perfection.
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) and another language (implied for LQA roles).
• Strong passion for games and a keen awareness of how they sound, look, and feel.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure team environment while maintaining quality.
• Comfortable using databases, spreadsheets, testing tools, and MS Office applications.
• Must have the right to work in the UK; these positions are not eligible for sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience in LQA, translation, or proofreading.
• Familiarity with translation systems.
• Previous use of test case management tools or text editing platforms.
