Associate QA Tester (Gamedev)

Location: This is a full-time, permanent and in-office position based in Rockstar’s unique game development studio in Lincoln, England.

What you will do

• Test various game genres, analyzing all elements of title functionality including gameplay, UI, and hardware interaction.
• Check title functionality against manufacturer guidelines and report non-adherence.
• Work closely with development and production teams to identify and prioritize issues.
• Find, reproduce, and accurately report errors or problems in games, followed by subsequent revision.
• Provide guidance and support on compliance requirements to other teams and stay updated with documentation.

Requirements

• A full and complete understanding of the native systems and features of current gen console platforms, such as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
• Ability to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines.
• Self-motivation and a proactive attitude.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, including setting up and operation of multiple consoles / workstations.
• Capable of working efficiently, both autonomously and in collaboration with others.

Nice to have

• Experience with compliance testing on more than one platform.
• Degree level educated.
• Comfortable delivering workshops, presentations and training.
• Experience with a variety of database software.
• Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office suite.
