What you will do
- Test core game content and systems in a timely manner.
- Write accurate bug reports, triage serious issues, and report directly to other departments.
- Work efficiently and collaboratively to deliver complete test reports as quickly as possible.
- Handle handover of work to, and receive work from, other global test teams to ensure seamless coverage.
- Respond to ad-hoc or time-sensitive test requests alongside regular duties.
Requirements
- Good general PC knowledge, including experience with Microsoft Office suite.
- Competent gaming ability and a strong understanding of Rockstar titles, both singleplayer and multiplayer.
- Ability to work productively, collaboratively, and communicate effectively with people at all levels.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to multitask, prioritise, and work within strict time constraints.
- The ability to concisely communicate complex and nuanced information both in-person and through written reports.
Nice to have
- Previous industry experience helpful.
- Familiarity with code editors or IDEs (e.g., Visual Studio, VSCode), reading code, interpreting call stacks.
- Existing experience with database software (Jira, Mantis, Test Track, etc.).
- Degree level educated.
- An interest in and understanding of the technical aspects of video game development.
