Focus on ensuring the Windows sensor is the industry's most advanced and reliable endpoint security solution, while optimizing performance, scalability, and ensuring technical excellence.

Location: Hybrid role based in Sunnyvale, CA, USA or Redmond, WA, USA. This position is open to all U.S. candidates.

Salary: $195,000 – $290,000 per year

• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for the Windows sensor team.
• Drive technical strategy, build technology roadmaps, and mentor engineers.
• Define and drive technical excellence through architecture reviews and best practices.
• Lead efforts in performance optimization, scalability improvements, and technical debt reduction.
• Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and enhance product reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stay current with industry trends and security threats in the Windows ecosystem.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Extensive software development experience, with at least 6 years focused on systems programming.
• Deep expertise in Windows OS internals, kernel development, and security architecture.
• Advanced knowledge of C/C++ programming and modern C++ practices.
• Strong understanding of software architecture patterns for resilient software development, including client/data/cloud architecture.
• Experience with real-time security monitoring and threat detection systems.
• Excellent technical leadership, mentoring, influencing, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Linux kernel development or eBPF.
• Knowledge of macOS internals and security architecture.
• Experience with cross-platform development and architecture.
• Background in malware analysis or threat research.
• Contributions to open-source projects or security research publications.
