Location: Remote (US). This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands. hirify.global is not currently considering candidates for this role in California, Seattle, or NYC.

Salary: $182,000–$273,000

What you will do

• Own and manage critical security infrastructure from conception to production.
• Architect and build AI-enhanced microservices to defend against various security threats globally.
• Develop intelligent detection and response systems using AWS cloud technologies.
• Lead initiatives spanning multiple teams and organizations, leveraging domain expertise.
• Collaborate with security and engineering minds on end-to-end system architecture, deployment, and monitoring.
• Deliver security solutions that protect digital assets and support a culture of innovation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of working experience in large-scale system architecting, design, development, testing, and release.
• 3+ years of professional experience with Cloud Computing Platforms, such as AWS.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, GoLang, or Java.
• A strong understanding of security principles and best practices.
• Experience leading project teams of engineers in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated experience in microservices, database design, API design, performance tuning, and telemetry.

Nice to have

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with application performance monitoring tools such as ElasticAPM.
