What you will do

• Contribute to the design and architecture of backend features for the Machine Identity Cloud platform.
• Develop and maintain high quality backend services using Golang and Java.
• Build and maintain scalable backend services and APIs that power frontend and system integrations.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to deliver data efficiently through GraphQL and other interfaces.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across distributed services within the Machine Identity Security ecosystem.
• Drive continuous improvement of development practices, tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on backend engineering.
• Proven experience building modern, scalable backend or distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency with Golang, Java, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Must have US work authorization, as visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of x509, PKI, and certificate issuance protocols (e.g., ACME, SCEP).
