Location: Hybrid working model requiring 3 days in the office in Cannon Street, London.

What you will do

  • Provide day-to-day support and manage financial crime compliance operations.
  • Review, assess, and sign off on Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and liaise with authorities.
  • Support the calibration and optimization of transaction monitoring systems.
  • Develop and maintain financial crime policies, procedures, and guidance materials.
  • Act as a 2nd line advisor to business units on financial crime matters, including new products.
  • Provide training and guidance to 1st line teams and the wider business.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial crime compliance within fintech or financial services.
  • Demonstrated experience working primarily in a 2nd line advisory/compliance function.
  • Previous hands-on experience within or overseeing 1st line/operational processes.
  • Experience with trading platforms or services, ideally with understanding of cryptocurrency products and associated risks.
  • Strong knowledge of UK as well as relevant International financial crime regulations and AML/CTF frameworks.
