What you will do

• Deliver production-ready, scalable, and resilient software end-to-end.
• Collaborate with distributed teams on backend infrastructure for iLottery products.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle.
• Own code quality by writing clean, well-tested code and addressing technical debt.
• Actively engage in code reviews and shared learning.
• Work closely with Product and Design to scope and deliver features.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java software development.
• Familiarity with cloud-native application concepts and distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, relational databases, and backend system design.
• Deep knowledge of software development best practices and the full SDLC.
• Proficiency in version control, automated testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and cloud-native patterns.
• English: C1+ required for excellent written and verbal communication.
• Collaborative mindset with effective team communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with additional modern programming languages (JavaScript, C#, Go, Python).
• Familiarity with the iLottery gaming domain.
