Location: Hybrid in London, UK. Requires 2-4 days per week on-site with clients throughout the UK. Remote work is possible from elsewhere within the UK when not on client sites.

What you will do

• Lead technical scoping and architectural decisions for high-impact ML systems.
• Design and build production-grade ML software, tools, and scalable infrastructure.
• Define and implement best practices and standards for deploying machine learning at scale.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve critical client challenges.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor, translating complex concepts into actionable strategies.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers, shaping the team's engineering culture.

Requirements

• Eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC) and willing to work on-site with customers 2-4 days per week.
• Significant experience operationalising models built with frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Deep expertise in software engineering and strong Python skills for building robust, reusable systems.
• Demonstrable hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), including architecture and security.
• Extensive experience working with container and orchestration tools such as Docker & Kubernetes.
• Thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments, demonstrating ownership and autonomy.
• Exceptional communication skills, able to confidently guide technical teams and senior non-technical stakeholders.
