What you will do

• Design innovative, scalable AWS cloud solutions for data platforms.
• Uphold architectural governance and ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
• Communicate solution designs and key decisions to stakeholders and governance forums.
• Oversee solution development, engage in implementation, and identify innovation opportunities.
• Conduct analysis of technology alternatives and develop proof-of-concepts.
• Retain accountability for architecture and design throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Proven ability to design and build complex, cloud-hosted data platforms on AWS.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps, DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD.
• Experience integrating cloud systems and third-party services (IaaS, SaaS/DBaaS like Snowflake, MongoDB Atlas).
• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals and secure system design.
• Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, C++) and modern development methodologies (TDD, Agile).
• Hands-on experience with data engineering (ETL/ELT pipelines, data formats, high-volume analytics systems).
• Strong communication skills to translate business requirements and articulate technical decisions.
