What you will do

• Design AI-first product capabilities to meaningfully improve workflows.
• Build production-grade AI systems that are reliable, observable, and scalable.
• Work on OCR, NLP, embeddings, classification, extraction, and validation of complex documents.
• Ship fast and iterate faster, moving quickly from idea to production and measuring impact.
• Collaborate deeply with product and engineering to translate customer problems into AI-powered solutions.
• Lay the AI foundation by defining tooling, architecture, evaluation methods, and best practices.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience building applied AI / ML systems in production (startup or scale-up experience strongly preferred).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience working with LLMs, embeddings, prompt design, RAG, or agent-based systems.
• Solid understanding of data pipelines, model evaluation, and monitoring.
• Recognizable skills in Python.
• Fluent in German and English.
