Security and Fraud Technology Specialist (ATM Security)

Location: Dundee, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

Salary: £64,000–£80,000 per year, plus bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop and implement physical security measures protecting cash and other assets in ATMs.
• Develop cardholder fraud-prevention strategies and deploy anti-fraud devices.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses of ATM systems.
• Ensure security solutions comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Identify future fraud and criminal trends and contribute to technical roadmaps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide security training to internal teams and clients.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a security-conscious engineering environment.
• Strong knowledge of physical security, encryption technologies, and fraud prevention.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Experience with ATM security systems.
• Knowledge of EN and UL standards related to ATM security.
• Knowledge of PCI standards and encryption methodologies.
• Knowledge of bank and credit card schemes.
