Location: New York, United States. Employees within a 50-mile commute of a designated Microsoft office in the U.S. are expected to work from the office at least four days per week.

Salary: USD $188,000 – $304,200 per year (New York City metropolitan area).

What you will do

• Identify customer unmet needs and market opportunities through quantitative and qualitative analyses.
• Define the vision and strategy for GenAI in Search roadmaps based on customer needs and business goals.
• Collaborate with UX and Design teams to translate product vision into desired functionality and integrated scenarios.
• Partner with Research, Software Engineering, and Hardware Engineering teams to iterate designs and ensure roadmap alignment with KPIs.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing, Business Planning, and Engineering on product release criteria and customer acquisition strategies.
• Collect performance metrics and derive insights to improve product development, building trust with a customer community.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development, OR equivalent experience.
• Ability to meet Microsoft security screening requirements, including passing the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer.
• Preferred: Experience working with Search or Recommendation systems.
• Preferred: Experience with large language model development, including data collection and pre/post-training, inference, and evaluations.
