What you will do

• Develop and enrich backend microservices, from researching areas of concern to implementing the final solution.
• Build cloud-based systems using existing tools to help detect targeted attacks.
• Collaborate with members across multiple teams on brainstorming, research, definition, and leadership.
• Ensure high quality of coding through best practices, testing, logging, and metrics.
• Mentor other developers on web, backend, and data storage technologies.
• Improve architecture, knowledge models, user experience, performance, and stability of the product.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science (or professional experience in data structures/algorithms/distributed systems).
• Minimum 5 years of production-level experience in building, delivering, and maintaining systems at scale.
• Strong understanding of scalability and distributed systems (sharding, partitioning, concurrency, etc.).
• Thorough understanding of engineering best practices from appropriate testing paradigms to effective peer code reviews and resilient architecture.
• Ability to thrive in a test-driven, collaborative, and iterative programming environment.
• Skills to meet commitments on time and produce high-quality, unit-tested, and code-reviewed software.

Nice to have

• Existing exposure to Python, Go, AWS, Cassandra, Kafka, Elasticsearch.
• Prior experience in the cybersecurity or intelligence fields.
• Front-end experience.
