Business Analyst

TL;DR

Business Analyst: Leading requirement gathering and delivery of projects across the group with an accent on documenting business needs, identifying problems, and process improvement. Focus on independently creating user stories, following Agile processes, and creating Process Maps using Visio and BPMN 2.0.

Location: Hybrid (Liverpool, UK). Applicants must have at least one year remaining on a Graduate or Post-Study Work visa and visa sponsorship is not offered.

Salary: £32,000–£38,000

What you will do

• Lead requirement-gathering meetings with stakeholders and clearly document business needs.
• Organise requirements using techniques like MOSCOW and document Risks, Actions, Issues, or Decisions.
• Document current “As Is” and future “To Be” processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Create user stories with Gherkin Methodologies and follow Agile processes to support sprints.
• Work with product managers to ensure backlog items are refined and prepared in a timely manner.
• Create Process Maps using Visio and BPMN 2.0, ensuring appropriate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent organisational skills.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively.
• Experience with Agile processes, MOSCOW technique, Gherkin Methodologies, and creating Process Maps.
• BPMN 2.0 certification is required.
• Must have at least one year remaining on your Graduate or Post-Study Work visa (visa sponsorship not offered).
