What you will do

• Manage and prioritize sales opportunities in partnership with the Sales organization.
• Hire, develop, and evaluate technical personnel to meet departmental goals.
• Create local sales plans and budgets to drive regional revenue growth.
• Act as a player-coach, providing guidance on sales strategies and solving difficult technical problems.
• Represent the team's needs to senior management and act as a thought leader in the security industry.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree or equivalent professional work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in pre or post-sales within an IT security environment.
• 5+ years of technical security experience in Firewall, IPS, DLP, SIEM, and Application/Web security.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks including PCI, GLBA, SOX, and HIPAA.
• Proven track record of managing and mentoring technical personnel.
• Valid US driver's license and ability to travel within the assigned region.
