Focus on reinforcing and improving shared UI frameworks, applying them thoughtfully, and identifying gaps for consistency across Riot Web.

Location: Must be eligible to work in the United States, with compliance to federal, state, and local laws including those in California, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Washington.

What you will do

• Design responsive, accessible, and visually cohesive web experiences across Riot Web surfaces.
• Deliver campaign and microsite work across varied visual styles and contexts.
• Contribute to and extend shared UI frameworks through production work, improving consistency and usability.
• Align designs with established visual systems and standards, contributing component-level enhancements and applied patterns.
• Partner with UX, insights, engineering, and product to define clear user flows and deliver implementation-ready designs.
• Communicate design intent effectively through clear documentation, prototypes, and handoff materials.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in visual design for web or user-interface-driven digital products.
• Strong visual design skills across typography, layout, hierarchy, and color.
• Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with industry-standard design tools.
• Proven experience delivering production-ready, responsive interfaces aligned to visual systems and component libraries.
• Hands-on experience applying design systems within real-world production workflows.
• Solid understanding of interaction design fundamentals and usability best practices.

Nice to have

• Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary design teams, with familiarity in user experience principles.
• Exposure to or experience with prototyping and user testing to support design validation and iteration.
• Experience extending or contributing to visual design systems or component libraries.
• Curiosity in or familiarity with emerging AI-assisted design tools.
