Location: Hybrid, must be based anywhere within Germany (4 days per month in office).

What you will do

• Drive the design, deployment, and optimization of data pipelines for various structured and unstructured data sources on GCP with Data Mesh architecture.
• Play a pivotal role in ensuring data observability by crafting automated solutions for monitoring and transparency.
• Encourage and cultivate a forward-thinking environment by researching and implementing prototypes and PoCs.
• Actively engage in collaboration with cross-functional teams to create data products and enrich hirify.global's data ecosystem.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering or Data Warehousing, creating and managing data pipelines, including batch and stream processing.
• Hands-on experience with cloud architecture and cloud technologies such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Extensive experience implementing automated solutions and applying best coding practices, with strong knowledge of SQL, Python, dbt, and Git.
• Proven track record of working with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines.
