What you will do

• Ensure smooth operation of hybrid cloud environments and Kubernetes-based business applications.
• Deploy, scale, and operate business-critical applications using Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and Kafka.
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code practices with Terraform for consistent and reliable environments.
• Support application development and day-to-day operations, collaborating closely with the SRE team.
• Design, implement, and continuously improve solutions for monitoring, alerting, and logging systems.
• Refine CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies to ensure efficient and high-quality software delivery.

Requirements

• Proven experience in leading DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering teams within a hybrid cloud environment.
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud-native technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and private cloud platforms, with proficiency in CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Azure Pipelines.
• Solid understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code and automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog).
• Willingness to participate in on-call duty for escalation handling.
• English: Good written and spoken English required.

Nice to have

• Certifications in Azure, Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD), or DevOps practices.
• Experience in regulated industries or with compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO, SOC 2).
• Strong background in IT security and experience working in agile and cross-functional team environments.
• German language skills are a plus.
