Location: Hybrid in Berlin, Germany (104 days per year remote post-probation). Relocation support to Berlin, Germany available.

What you will do

• Operate, maintain, and continuously improve Google Cloud–based infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters.
• Build, manage, and evolve Infrastructure-as-Code setup using Terraform and Terramate.
• Enhance and automate CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment speed, reliability, and developer experience.
• Improve monitoring, observability, and alerting with Prometheus and Grafana to identify and resolve issues proactively.
• Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and security/compliance improvements, including ISO27001-related automation.
• Collaborate closely with backend teams to design resilient, scalable services and deployment architectures.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with GCP, Kubernetes, and Terraform/Terramate.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Good knowledge of networking, Linux systems, and system design fundamentals.
• English: B2 required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Helm or other Kubernetes tooling.
• Exposure to DevSecOps practices, vulnerability scanning, or secrets management.
• Familiarity with SOC2/ISO27001 audits or security automation.
• Experience working in high-availability SaaS environments.
• Knowledge of SQL databases or distributed systems concepts.
