What you will do
- Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and DevOps/platform teams on feature development.
- Conduct peer code reviews and contribute to engineering retrospectives.
- Define technical requirements and identify optimal solutions to meet team goals.
- Participate in discussions focused on testing, architecture, automation, and coding standards.
- Focus on delivering value and improving the overall user experience for customers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend development experience.
- 2+ years of experience with a strongly typed language or TypeScript.
- Strong experience with RDBMS (raw queries or via ORM).
- Solid background in unit and integration testing.
- Experience with message brokers (SNS, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Google Pub/Sub, etc.).
- Must be based in Barcelona, Spain, for a hybrid work setup.
- English: B2+ required for effective team collaboration.
Nice to have
- Experience with Node.js, GraphQL, GCP or AWS, gRPC and protobufs.
- Strong grasp of SOLID principles.
