TL;DR

Documentation Specialist (AI): Creating and maintaining clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation for product, SOPs, and knowledge bases with an accent on structuring information for scalability and translating complex AI concepts. Focus on owning and improving documentation standards, collaborating with subject-matter experts, and keeping content up to date in a fast-moving product environment.

Location: Hybrid in Berlin or Munich, Germany. Work from home and/or our beautiful office(s) in the heart of Berlin or Munich on certain days.

What you will do

  • Create and maintain documentation including product documentation, SOPs, knowledge bases, and release notes.
  • Structure and organize information for easy findability, reuse, and scalability across teams.
  • Own and continuously improve documentation standards, templates, and style guides.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Support, and Legal to capture and validate knowledge.
  • Translate complex technical and AI-related concepts for different audiences.
  • Keep documentation up to date in a fast-moving product environment with frequent releases.

Requirements

  • 4–7+ years of experience owning documentation in a scaling SaaS, AI, or product-driven company.
  • Strong background in both technical and customer-facing documentation (product docs, APIs, help centers).
  • Proven experience building and scaling documentation standards, templates, and processes.
  • Experience partnering with product and engineering teams to document fast and frequent releases.
  • Confidence in translating AI or agent-based concepts into clear guidance for non-expert audiences.
  • A structured, detail-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and quality.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience with AI agents, LLM platforms, or conversational AI products.
  • Familiarity with docs-as-code workflows, version control, or automation.
  • Experience supporting enterprise customers or go-to-market teams.
