hirify.global is looking for a talented artist to join their team as an environment artist.

What you will do

  • Work with the Art Director and team to establish an outstanding look for environments.
  • Demonstrate expertise in texturing using both procedurally generated and hand-painted techniques in a PBR workflow.
  • Work from photo references or concept art and interpret design intentions when concepts are unavailable.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members, production, and management to ensure project goals are defined and met on time.
  • Execute multiple art styles.

Requirements

  • High level of proficiency in Maya or 3ds Max, ZBrush, and Substance Painter.
  • A basic understanding of shaders, with preference given to those adept in material creation, lighting, and environmental effects.
  • Strong understanding of modularity and the use of trim sheets for optimal level building.
  • Experience with real-time engines and have spent a considerable amount of time “in-editor”.
  • Knowledge of traditional art principles and theory of function, form, shape, proportions, and color, etc.
