TL;DR

Senior Commissions Analyst: Managing the day-to-day operations of the sales commissions program with an accent on accurate and timely calculation of commissions and bonuses, and ensuring correct application of plans and policies. Focus on performing regular audits, resolving commission-related disputes, and providing strategic insights on the variable compensation program.

Location: Remote from Central and Eastern Europe or onsite in Bratislava, Brno, or Prague.

Salary: €2,000+ gross per month

What you will do

  • Own day-to-day operations of the sales commissions program.
  • Calculate and validate monthly commission payments and other sales bonuses.
  • Perform regular reviews and audits of crediting rules and commission calculations.
  • Support monthly and quarterly close processes related to commissions.
  • Manage and resolve commission-related questions and disputes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide strategic insights and recommendations on variable compensation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Finance, or Financial Analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret data and reconcile discrepancies.
  • High proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, nested formulas) and solid PowerPoint skills.
  • Hands-on experience with CaptivateIQ or a similar incentive compensation management platform.
  • Salesforce experience or familiarity with CRM data structures.

Nice to have

  • Prior ownership or co-ownership of a sales commissions process or program.
  • Broader experience with incentive compensation management tools (e.g., Xactly, Varicent, Spiff).
  • Experience in B2B SaaS or technology companies, particularly global organizations.
