TL;DR

Joint Cyber Operations Planner (Cybersecurity): Planning and executing Joint and Army cyber activities for experimentation efforts with an accent on operational planning, capability identification, and multi-domain operations integration. Focus on assisting with experimentation plan development, coordinating DoD Cyber units, and ensuring readiness for critical military operations.

Location: Must be based onsite at Fort Bliss, TX, USA. Applicant will be subject to a US Government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance for this position.

What you will do

• Assist in planning and executing Project Convergence (PC) & Small Scale Assessments (SSAs) activities.
• Contribute to experimentation plan development, including modeling, simulation, and technical/operational assessments.
• Identify promising DOTMLPF-P capability solutions suitable for prototype experiment events.
• Participate in Training Working Groups to support Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures development.
• Support the coordination, planning, and integration of Multi-Domain Operations with specific expertise in Cyber in exercises.
• Facilitate the coordination and participation of joint DoD Cyber units in PC and SSA exercises.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Four (4) years of previous DoD experimentation experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Word.
• Ability to effectively deliver oral presentations to senior military and civilian leaders.
• Understanding of military protocols and customs is essential.
• Must be eligible for and obtain a Secret Clearance.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the Army live experimentation program.
• Background in cyber or signal operations.
• Experience as a military officer or SNCO.
