Multimedia Developer

TL;DR

Multimedia Developer: Designing and developing interactive training programs and courseware, integrating graphics, audio, video, and interactive elements. Focus on implementing interactivity and simulations using industry-standard technologies like HTML5, JavaScript, Unity/Unreal for aviation and defense training.

Location: Work in a regular office environment. Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement interactive training programs and courseware.
• Produce engaging digital learning materials, simulations, and interactive courseware.
• Integrate graphics, audio, video, and interactive elements into multiple delivery platforms.
• Develop training materials for classroom, computer-based training (CBT), Aircrew Training Device (ATD), Part Task Trainers (PTT), and video formats.
• Implement interactivity and simulations using HTML5, JavaScript, Unity/Unreal, and SCORM/xAPI-compliant tools.
• Conduct peer reviews and proactively prioritize efforts to meet course milestones.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Design/Development, Instructional Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience developing interactive multimedia training or eLearning content.
• Proficiency in HTML5, JavaScript, and modern web development frameworks/libraries (e.g., CreateJS, React, Angular, or similar).
• Familiarity with Unity, Unreal, or comparable tools for interactive simulation development.
• Proficiency with multimedia authoring and design tools (Adobe Animate, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro).
• Experience with SCORM and/or xAPI standards and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents, and generate effective oral and written presentations.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for a DoD security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with UI/UX design principles.
• Basic digital audio and video editing.
• 3D modeling/animation using 3ds Max, Blender, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with instructional video scripting and production.
• Experience with aviation or defense-related training programs.
