Location: Remote, hiring from Spain, Canada, United States, Greece, Ireland, Israel, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom. Due to export controls, we are unable to hire individuals located in or nationals of Belarus, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Syria, the Crimea Region of Ukraine, the Donetsk People’s Republic (“DNR”), and the Luhansk People’s Republic (“LNR”).

What you will do

• Lead and mentor a product design team, focusing on Observability initiatives, GenAI-powered UX, advanced analytics, and investigation workflows.
• Shape and oversee the product design roadmap, ensuring alignment with the broader Observability design strategy.
• Collaborate with other design managers and the Design Director to ensure a cohesive user experience across hirify.global's product portfolio.
• Remove blockers, provide strategic guidance, and ensure successful delivery of design projects.
• Contribute to design excellence by collaborating on design systems and cross-organizational design processes for consistency and scalability.
• Manage the team's work balance, ensuring optimal productivity, creativity, and timely execution of milestones and deadlines.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product design management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with managing product design roadmaps and delivering products on time without sacrificing quality.
• Ability to mentor and support designers to help them develop their skills and careers.
• Experience with cross-functional collaboration and ability to work with stakeholders from multiple departments.
• Excellent understanding of design principles, trends, and best practices.
• A Portfolio or Case Study is required with application.

Nice to have

• Understanding and experience in designing UIs that handle extensive data.
• Strong background in SaaS platform design and usability.
• Proficiency in creating and improving complex workflow designs.
• Experience in the Observability space, such as monitoring, logging, tracing, or alerting.
