What you will do

• Design and implement sleek, dynamic, and dramatic special effects that add atmosphere and depth to gameplay.
• Balance visual satisfaction and gameplay clarity while ensuring effects accurately represent actions or states.
• Create aesthetically astounding visual effects that communicate essential game information and capture the essence of characters.
• Use craft skills to draw, paint, animate, and model as needed.
• Synthesize brand new assets from classic designs using encyclopedic knowledge of visual effects.
• Find creative and effective solutions to eliminate difficult problems in production.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience as a visual effects artist in games or related industries.
• Experience working with Unity, Unreal, or equivalent game engine VFX tools.

Nice to have

• Experience developing Unreal Blueprints.
• Experience programming in C++ and UnrealScript.
