TL;DR
Global Head of Index Research & Development: Leading the creation of timely, germane research content and the development of new indexes for various investment vehicles with an accent on strategic vision, client engagement, and index launch. Focus on managing product pipelines, fostering client relationships, and developing strategies for emerging passive investment opportunities like tokenized assets.
Location: This position will be located in New York and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change.
Salary: $172,000 - $335,000

What you will do
- Manage the composition, prioritization, and execution of research and product pipelines across geographies and investment vehicles.
- Develop and execute a client engagement strategy with sales counterparts.
- Coach and mentor direct reports and individual contributors within the Index R&D reporting line.
- Foster relationships with leaders at key client and partner firms.
- Collaborate with internal teams to triangulate investment topics and product concepts.
- Lead the strategy and applied research agenda for emerging passive investment opportunities, including private markets benchmarks, tokenized assets, and digital asset index products.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in research and development of indexes and/or rules-based investment products.
- Detailed knowledge of the regulatory and commercial dynamics underpinning ’s markets and investment vehicles.
- Track record of connecting R&D work to leverage opportunities based on client/investor demand and macroeconomic backdrop.
- Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills, with sharp attention to detail.
- Experience utilizing SQL, R, Python, and Databricks.
- Experience utilizing Tableau or similar data visualization tools to create compelling content.
- Must be able to work in a hybrid environment at least 3 days a week in-office in New York.
