TL;DR

Design/DSP/Verification Intern (Hardware): Developing and maintaining Python-based test suites and implementing block-level designs using RTL coding guidelines with an accent on pre-silicon emulation, functional testing, and hardware/firmware integration. Focus on learning optical PHY module architecture, UVM/SystemVerilog verification environments, and formal verification techniques.

Location: Onsite in Santa Clara, CA. Work authorization: Must be eligible to access U.S. export-controlled information (U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or protected individuals).

Salary: $27-$53 per hour.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain Python-based test suites for system bring-up.
• Execute functional tests, analyze results, and debug failing cases.
• Support firmware and hardware integration in a pre-silicon environment.
• Create block level design specifications using timing diagrams.
• Implement block level design using RTL Coding guidelines and run Synthesis/Lint flow.
• Learn optical PHY module architecture, UVM/SystemVerilog verification, and formal verification.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Completed courses in logic, processor, memory system, Verilog/VHDL, analog, integrated circuit design, digital logic design, SoC/ASIC design, verification principles, signals, and signal processing.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages like Python, C, C++, Perl, Java.
• Experience with pre-silicon simulation or emulation platforms.
• Hands-on experience with RTL integration and bring-up systems.
• Experience with debugging complex hardware/software interactions.
• Strong analysis, problem solving, and communication skills.
