RTL IC Design Engineer (AI/ML): Designing and implementing high-performance RTL for next-generation AI/ML and enterprise storage PCIe Switch products with an accent on Verilog/SystemVerilog implementation, asynchronous clock domain crossings, and low-power design. Focus on optimizing for timing closure, debugging robust RTL solutions, and supporting silicon validation.

Location: Must work in person at our Colorado Springs site, USA; no remote work allowed.

Salary: $108,000–$172,800 annually

What you will do

• Analyze high-level architecture specifications and develop micro-architecture documentation.
• Implement high-quality, high-performance Verilog/SystemVerilog RTL designs, considering asynchronous clock domains, multiple power domains, and complex algorithms.
• Optimize RTL designs for timing closure by applying RTL optimization strategies.
• Perform superb RTL debugging with robust solutions.
• Work with cross-functional teams including Verification, Software/Firmware, Emulation, and Validation Engineering.
• Provide lab support for silicon as it progresses through validation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 8+ years of relevant industry experience.
• In-depth knowledge of all aspects of implementation and supporting RTL designs using Verilog/SystemVerilog.
• Must work in person at our Colorado Springs site; no remote work allowed.

Nice to have

• Experience with PCIe protocol.
• Experience with CXL protocol.
• Experience with AMBA protocols.
• Familiarity with RAID Storage designs.
• Familiarity with PCIe Switch designs.
