Senior Design Verification Engineer (Hardware)

TL;DR

Senior Design Verification Engineer (Hardware): Participating in all aspects of verification for complete mixed-signal IC developments of innovative solutions with an accent on testbench development, failure analysis, and coverage analysis. Focus on working on complex verification systems, improving verification methodology, and collaborating with digital/analog designers and software developers.

Location: Hybrid in Austin, Texas. Must be able to work in the United States and candidates must be able to access technical data without a requirement for an export license.

What you will do

• Perform verification planning for mixed-signal IC developments.
• Develop testbenches using UVM methodologies.
• Implement functional verification of mixed-signal ASICs.
• Conduct failure analysis and resolution, including coverage analysis and population.
• Develop digital/mixed-signal modeling and constraint-random test generation.
• Support regression debug and develop flow/infrastructure improvements.

Requirements

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• At least 5+ years of experience in silicon design or verification.
• Strong background with HDLs (Verilog, VHDL) and HVLs (SystemVerilog/UVM, OVM, AVM, Vera).
• Strong knowledge of digital design & systems architecture.

Nice to have

• Ability to work closely with digital/analog designers, applications engineers, and software.
• Knowledge of signal processing and Verilog Assertions.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers in verification methodology.
