Senior Staff Optical Engineer

Salary: $130,740 – $195,800 per annum

What you will do

• Develop test, calibration, and optimization methods for high-speed optical interconnect products.
• Design, develop, and maintain test stations and software platforms for efficient and scalable testing.
• Execute bring-up, debug, calibration, EVT, and DVT processes.
• Analyze test data and generate reports for product optimization.

Requirements

• PhD with 2+ years, Master's with 2+ years, or Bachelor's with 3+ years of experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge and experience with optical communications from system to component level.
• Proficiency in Python programming for test automation and data analysis.
• Experience with electrical and optical communication test equipment.
• Must be eligible to access export-controlled information under U.S. laws; may require export license review prior to employment.
• Onsite presence in Santa Clara, CA is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in Git, MATLAB, JMP, Keysight ADS, and Linux.
• Background in digital signal processing.
