What you will do
- Develop copy for integrated campaigns, especially video scripts, digital, social, and paid search.
- Partner with art directors to create big ideas grounded in human insight.
- Craft clear and purposeful writing that is on-voice and consistent across all touchpoints.
- Lead messaging development and ensure consistency across deliverables.
- Present ideas internally and to clients with clarity and confidence.
- Work closely with producers and editors to shape video content through final delivery.
Requirements
- 6+ years of copywriting experience.
- A portfolio with clear, insight-led thinking and strong writing across formats.
- Experience writing for both brand and retail advertising.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to shift between big-picture concepting and detail-level execution.
- Knowledge of video production and how to write for the edit.
- Work from an office a minimum of 3 days a week in Calgary.
