What you will do

• Produce high-quality product documentation, release notes, and API documentation to guide and educate customers.
• Develop deep product knowledge by researching, partnering with SMEs, and hands-on product use.
• Adhere to a modern, conversational voice and tone, following team standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with other technical writers, product managers, engineers, and UX designers throughout the software development process.
• Participate in content reviews and implement feedback for documentation quality.
• Tailor documentation to intended audiences and advocate for the customer experience.
• Independently manage assigned projects.

Requirements

• Experience with DITA/XML and structured authoring principles.
• Demonstrated understanding of topic-based authoring and reusable information architecture.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with tight deadlines.
• Excellent writing skills, including thoughtful information hierarchy, sentence structure, and professional voice.
• A user-centric approach focused on customer needs.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and appreciation for process.
• Portfolio of writing samples demonstrating ability to simplify complex technical subjects.
• Must maintain legal entitlement to work in Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience using Oxygen XML Editor.
• Familiarity with a docs-as-code model or experience using Git for documentation source control.
• Knowledge of and experience with cybersecurity.
• Experience with Component Content Management Systems.
