What you will do
- Lead end-to-end architecture and scope for Azure solutions, meeting goals for value, security, scalability, reliability, performance, and cost.
- Serve as technical lead and subject matter expert, guiding consultants and engineers to align implementation with architecture and standards.
- Provide architectural guidance through design and pull-request reviews, shaping cloud patterns and guardrails.
- Oversee and implement solutions across Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Microsoft Purview, Profisee, or Unity Catalog.
- Lead discovery and requirements sessions, clarifying scope, dependencies, and risks for project workstreams.
- Contribute to business development, defining cloud vision and architectural viewpoints for client pursuits.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience delivering cloud solutions in application development, cloud platform engineering, DevOps, or data and analytics.
- 3+ years of experience in solution architecture and leading development or engineering teams.
- Proven experience leading hybrid and remote teams and maintaining alignment, quality, and predictable delivery across time zones.
- Expertise in at least one major public cloud platform, with Azure strongly preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in data governance or data management, or 5+ in a large consulting firm.
- Must have US work authorization.
Nice to have
- Experience using AI-augmented development and integrating AI or machine learning capabilities into solutions.
- Experience in consulting or professional services.
